After Greg Lemond finished his sucessful racing career, he got into the frame production business. Most of
these ex racers are better riders than businessmen. In 1994, Trek bought Lemond Bicycles and 3 other companies which had
recently gone out of business or were about to.It's a great deal for these riders - design the bikes and let Trek run
the financial end.
Each Lemond frame size gets a different diameter tube set. A lightweight,
shorter rider is on a smaller tube set, a big rider gets larger diameter tubes.These are one piece molded frames
and nicely finished.
